About Our Chocolates
In our early days, we literally stirred the pots by hand. These days we can afford machines to stir chocolate, but we are still small artisan producers, and use mainly traditional skills. We still pipe every centre by hand, marble and decorate each chocolate individually, and hand-roll all of our truffles. We also use some innovative techniques which help us to achieve the exquisite finish on many of our chocolates, but we know that there are no shortcuts to achieving perfection!We use only the best of ingredients and, wherever possible, we avoid additives. We use natural flavouring oils, fruit purees, fresh nuts, ground spices, cream and finest Belgian chocolate to create subtle flavour combinations. This means that our handmade chocolates have a shelf life of no more than 10 weeks - but like all chocolates they are best enjoyed fresh.
A bonus of using good ingredients and sourcing our own raw products is that we can guarantee the provenance of our goods and that all of the chocolates we make are Gluten-Free.
